Since releasing the report for our study on parental discipline in Singapore, there have been a few news articles and commentaries discussing our findings.

This Straits Times article summarises the study findings and includes insights from Singapore Children’s Society representatives. TODAY interviewed parents and young adults about their views and experiences of physical discipline, and found that their comments largely aligned with our study findings.

A Channel NewsAsia article compiled comments from TODAY’s Facebook page, documenting various perspectives on the use of physical discipline. TODAY also posted a commentary by a parenting coach who advocates for not using physical punishment with children.
