Thrilled that my very first publication as a first author is out, and open access! This article is based on my undergraduate thesis research done at National University of Singapore back in 2019/2020, under the supervision of the wonderful Dr. Iliana Magiati.
In 2021, I was part of a team of researchers from the Singapore Children’s Society and Yale-NUS College who conducted a large-scale study on parental discipline in Singapore. We conducted online surveys and semi-structured interviews with parents and young adults and asked them about the discipline methods they used/experienced, focusing on physical discipline.
